Top 10 New Years Resolutions

So, it's lucky number 13 days in to the new year and we are in what the "experts" like to the call the dulldrums of winter. IDK about using the word "dull" to describe -7 temps and with all the Florida peeps enjoying lovely 80* days it sure puts a wrench in trying out my Christmas flip-flops! What ever the temperature where you were, I hope that your holiday season was fantastic where ever you enjoyed it!  

According to StatisticBrain  about 45% of us are in the habit of setting resolutions for the new year.  If you say, "no way to them", then good for you - nothing wrong with that, after all I'm told its suppose to be a conscious daily habit.  I did have to make a few changes, that could be construed as resolutions, because I was having a hard time working from home.

Now before you booooo me and start tossing rotten tomaoes, working from a home has crazy challenges too...sure you can toss a load of laundry in, get dinner started, etc. however you can also clock in enormous hours because you can work at all times of the night/day/day of the week.  I was surprised that the Top 10 NY Resolutions for 2014 were:

Spend Less, Save More

Enjoy Life to the Fullest

Staying Fit and Healthy

Learn Something Exciting

Quit Smoking

Help Others in Their Dreams

Fall in Love

Spend More Time with Family

 

My struggle was with #2.  To solve it, I ended up making a custom to do list for myself because I needed the specific breakdown by category.  A straight up list wasn't working and I don't want to have to rewrite a list at the beginning of each week.  It's just a quick word doc, and I'm happy to share it with you.
