Though its cool outside here in the mid-east, my favorite season is approaching! Some call it summer - I like to call it Flip Flop Season! Nothing like a fresh pedicure and a sassy pair of flip flops to get a smile on your face! Back from a fun beach excursion for a friends bday celebration; I had to head in for an emergency for a pedi! Ever feel like you need a vacation from your vacation? We were on a bit of a tight schedule while we were gone and it makes it seem as though we never left. Awe well, can't win them all! We had fun golfing, golfing and golfing! Oh wait....there was a little beach in there as well!  One of my new favorite places in Florida is Boca Grande located on laid back Gasparilla Island. Have you recovered from the DST adjustment?  I feel that there was much to do about it on Monday - but it's now F R I D A Y - and I've been told that "you've got to get down on Friday!" IDK why the hour shift upsets so many bowls of oats, but it did make me curious so I went exploring and learned a couple of things: The savings itself -  is singular (saving vs savings), which we all probably knew but never paid it any attention. Vacationing.

It’s January - the middleish of the month….the festivities of Christmas have been put away - I know maybe not for all of us and no judgement if yours are still out.  I was able to keep my wreath and porch pots until this week, so I count that as a win! The decorations are down and now what? What else do you do in the winter? Shovel? Thankfully not as much as last year -  here in the Great Lakes region anyway.
